Announcement of Technical Chair & New Vice Chair
Following the recent election, I am pleased to announce that Nigel Blacklock has been re-elected to the role of SPRA Technical Chair. Nigel has an incredible knowledge of the sector and his experience working on SPRA, British and European Standards, and his representation on many industry bodies is invaluable to our trade association. I would like to thank Nigel for his continuing commitment to SPRA and think that this continuity will be helpful as we welcome our new Technical Manager, Ronan Brunton.
However, SPRA is a forward-thinking organisation, and we are always looking to encourage new and enthusiastic people into the leadership team, so I am delighted to announce that Stephen Duffy has agreed to become our first ever Vice Chair of the Technical Committee.
Technical Committee is core to SPRA’s influence and member benefits and I look forward to working with both Nigel and Stephen over the next two years to further develop the work of this important group.
