The CIH is the project that brings together the Manufacturing Technology Centre, BRE and Digital Built Britain. The project has £72m of funding and is led by Keith Waller (formerly of the Infrastructure Project Authority). The projects’ aim is primarily to improve the productivity of construction through the use of manufacturing techniques, standards & standardization and digitization.
