Build UK has identified bespoke contract terms designed to pass unreasonable risk down the supply chain as a key area of focus within its Improving Business Performance agenda. The aim is to identify a number of terms which Contractor members would agree not to sign up to with their clients nor pass down to their supply chains. Build UK has recently set out some key areas of focus, including disproportionate liquidated damages, uncapped liabilities and unacceptable payment terms, which will be developed for wider consultation over the coming weeks
