The CPA have published their initial review of the Chancellor’s Budget that was announced on the 29th October. One less publicised snippet is that ‘there will be a tax on the production and import of plastic packaging will be introduced from April 2022. Subject to consultation, this tax will apply to plastic packaging which does not contain at least 30% recycled plastic’. Read the full CPA review.
