Following the success of last year’s Build UK and CECA SmartCard Audit, Build UK members have agreed that as part of this year’s audit members will also conduct a survey of operatives holding Labourer cards to identify whether it is the right card for their job, and if not, the blockers preventing them from obtaining another card. The SmartCard Audit 2019 will take place in the autumn in partnership with CSCS and Reference Point.
SPRA Update – Did you know that CSCS smartcards can be read by an Android phone app as well as special card readers. There is therefore no excuse for site managers not to check all cards.
