The Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety has identified a lack of consistency in the processes and standards for assuring the competence of those working on High Risk Residential Buildings (HRRBs) as a major flaw in the current regulatory system. Adroit Economics, working in collaboration with PRP, have been commissioned by the MHCLG to carry out a full review of the
impact of enhanced competence requirements for safety critical disciplines working on buildings in scope. SPRA members should take this opportunity to add their comments on this critical subject as any new legislation will affect the whole industry.
