Welcome to all Weekly News readers this week.
We are delighted to announce that the SPRA Awards Luncheon will take place on the 15th of June this year at Hilton City Hotel, Leeds City Centre. This is a fantastic setting for such an event, and we are sure that the venue will provide a fitting tribute to our award winners whom SPRA will honour for both 2020 and 2021.
It is a great opportunity for all involved in single ply roofing to meet face to face in a prestigious setting. Award winners will be recognised for both years separately with extensive trade media and SPRA coverage. At the event we will be recognising winners in the following categories for both years.
SPRA AWARD CATEGORIES for years 2020 and 2021
- Best Detailing
- Best New Build
- Best Refurbishment
- Best Safe Working
- Best Sustainability
That makes a total of 10 major industry awards; 5 for each year that will be presented on the day.
We are now accepting online submissions for awards from our members for projects completed in both 2020 and 2021 for these categories. Please begin preparing your applications if you haven’t already started.

This year will be a fabulous lunch event bringing the SPRA community together again to recognise the excellence in single ply roofing. Tickets will go on sale shortly via the SPRA website and there is an opportunity to book a table for 10 guests at an ‘early bird’ rate on a first come first served basis.
This year’s SPRA Awards Lunch will allow all present an opportunity to network with others involved in single ply roofing and we look forward to being together with our members again. Further information will be available through via the SPRA Weekly News and the SPRA website.
