A warm welcome this week to all SPRA members and readers of the SPRA Weekly News.
There is a jam packed edition of the SPRA Weekly News again this week. We like to keep all informed of current industry issues and also highlight events that may be of interest or necessary to know about.
Firstly, as reported last week the SPRA Conference and Awards 2021 are taking place on 16th June 2021 this year. We are really looking forward to providing all our members and others attending the opportunity to engage with SPRA through this showcase event. As well as having a host of influential speakers from our construction sector there will be an opportunity to submit questions on key issues. Over the next week or so registration for the event will open via our new Conference 2021 tab on the SPRA website www.spra/Conference 2021.co.uk. In the meantime for the SPRA Awards taking place at the event you can make a Project Award submission through the website directly from this web page, up to 24th May, for projects completed in 2019. We will continue to update the Conference 2021 web page with details and news every week as we unfold the format and content for this year’s event. Please ensure you visit to be kept fully informed.
There are also a wide variety of other items this week with information on; the rollout of the Common Assessment Standard, the Construction Product Testing Review, Carbon Emissions Targets, the CITB Levy Concensus, Prompt Payment Code changes, Brexit Guidance and two BEIS Consultations; concerning energy performance of commercial buildings and energy efficiency.
Hope you find the enclosed interesting and informative.
We wish all well and hope you have a safe and productive week.
