A warm welcome again this week to all SPRA members and readers of the SPRA Weekly News.
As always, hope you find the enclosed interesting and informative.
We’d firstly like to draw your attention to new joint flat roofing industry guidance from the LRWA, NFRC and SPRA. Please see here for details on how to get your copy of this important guidance document from our website.
As well as our usual training features this week our General Area also has information on the Common Assessment Standard Review. Any suggested changes for consideration should be sent in by the end of this week July 2nd. Please see the feature for access to an online form.
This week we again draw your attention to new legislation from the EU concerning Northern Ireland regarding Regulation on Market Surveillance and Compliance of Products 2019/2020 that comes into force on 16th July 2021. This can be found in our Members Area. Also, in our Members Area, you can find information on Employing Foreign Workers and Workplace Testing. We draw your attention also to an interesting feature on Flexible Working in construction and the results of a project by Build UK and Timewise.
Finally, there are two features concerning insurance worth taking the time to read. One regarding Trade Credit Insurance and another on Professional Indemnity Insurance and the availability of information from the CICV Forum. Hopefully readers will find the enclosed beneficial.
We wish all well and have a safe and productive week.
