The CICV reports this week that the Scottish Government’s Supply Chain Resilience and Capability Work Group agreed at their meeting held on 29th July to cluster the issues raised at their first meeting into 4 cluster areas. The sub-group agreed to split the 12 issues into 4 clusters, with Vision recognised as an overarching theme and Innovation underpinning each. These 4 clusters are: Development and Enabling; Zero Carbon and Energy Efficiency; Tax and Financials; and Materials, Products and Services Supply.
The Supply Chain Sub-Group is asked to contribute industry and public sector views to the Construction Industry Recovery Plan feeding into the Covid-19 Construction Leadership Forum in Scotland.
Since April this SPRA have been members of the CICV in Scotland attend the CICV Forum on a monthly basis.
