SPRA Council is delighted to welcome Duncan Murdoch from NRA Roofing & Flooring Services Limited onto the leadership team.
NRA Roofing have been members of SPRA for many years and were the single ply contractors responsible for two winning projects at the SPRA Awards 2018. Duncan said “I have a wealth of experience and knowledge gained over 23 years within single ply and the wider roofing industry. I started on site carrying out installations of single ply roofs and built up felt roofs within both new build and refurbishment projects and have worked with numerous SPRA membranes including Sarnafil, Alwitra, Armourplan, and Monarplan. For the last 10 years I have been working as a contracts manager for NRA Roofing and Flooring Ltd and I am looking forward to using my knowledge and experience to help the SPRA Council improve installation methods and enhance clients’ understanding of single ply roofing systems.
Martyn Holloway, SPRA Chair said “I would like to thank Duncan for putting himself forward for Council and look forward to working with him as we continue to drive quality and technical excellence in the single ply roofing sector. His knowledge, experience and enthusiasm will be an invaluable addition to the leadership team.”
Cathie Clarke, CEO said “I am very pleased that Duncan and NRA Roofing will be contributing directly to our efforts to continually improve and support the specialist single ply industry. Duncan joins other Contractor Representatives; Brendan McNulty (Delomac) Tony Ferri (Briggs Amasco) and Carl Pryce (Maincare Roofing) as the four Contractor Representatives on the 12-strong SPRA Council. Their knowledge and experience will feed directly into the various industry initiatives that SPRA is involved with, not least Hackitt Recommendations, CITB Review, the CSCS Card Scheme and the developing Roofcert accreditation.
