SPRA squeeze another SAP Training Week into 2020!
Last week, SPRA were pleased to be able to safely deliver week three of a five week training course as part of our Specialist Applied-skills Programme (SAP) that we run for apprentices. Training in 2020 has been disrupted as a result of COVID, but we have pulled out all the stops to progress this training so that our trainees get closer to achieving their Level 2 NVQ and can access a blue Skilled Worker CSCS card. Thanks again to the support of the Briggs Amasco staff who ensured a safe environment, and thanks to our trainer Don Clift for constructing two new large training rigs for our trainees to practice their skills on. Finally, thanks to the trainees themselves and to members Briggs Amasco, Delomac, Owlsworth and NRA Roofing and Flooring who are sponsoring them.
SPRA is seeking serious expressions of interest for our next SAP course which will start in Feb or early March. CITB have also confirmed that funding for SAPS will continue in 2021, so now is definitely the time to access this training. This is our apprenticeship level programme and is open to all ages. Discounts for SPRA members. Contractors must be UK based. Interested? Please email training@spra.co.uk For all information on training, please visit https://spra.co.uk/training-careers/
