As previously reported SPRA are running guidance course sessions on existing SPRA published guidance as well other standards and information concerning wind load calculation. These sessions are based on the SPRA guidance document Wind Loading – Protocol for calculations (S11b/19) with extensive reference to the appropriate standards and other industry guidance that underpin this document.
There are 3 x 2 hour sessions that make up the full guidance and these are generally delivered via a virtual platform over one week. These sessions are open to both members and non-members of SPRA and delivered via a virtual platform. There will be a small cohort per session of up to six participants. The cost of participating in the full 3 x 2 hour sessions over one week is £150 (plus VAT) for members and £200 (plus VAT) for non-members. Participation is only possible by registering for the full guidance in the 3 x 2 hour sessions format. Please register here.
It is hoped to run these sessions on a once per month basis in this virtual platform format. The first set of sessions begin on Friday 20th November (now full) with December’s sessions beginning on Friday 11th December 2020 (limited spaces) and in the new year, January’s sessions beginning on Friday 15th January 2021 (reasonably open). For full information on each month’s session times and to register for participation for any month please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
There are limited spaces available for December sessions so ensure to register as soon as possible. SPRA may combine sessions at our discretion depending on number of attendees.
