As previously reported SPRA have started running guidance course sessions on existing SPRA published guidance as well other standards and information concerning wind load calculation. These sessions are based on the SPRA guidance document Wind Loading – Protocol for calculations (S11b/19) with extensive reference to the appropriate standards and other industry guidance that underpin this document. There are 3 x 2 hour sessions that make up the full programme and these are delivered via a virtual platform over one week. These sessions are open to both members and non-members of SPRA. There will be a small cohort per session of up to six participants. The cost of participating in the full 3 x 2 hour sessions over one week is £150 (plus VAT) per attendee for members and £200 (plus VAT) for non-members. Participation is only possible by registering for the full guidance in the 3 x 2 hour sessions format delivered on a virtual Zoom platform.
It is hoped to run these sessions on a once per month basis in this virtual platform format. January’s sessions are due to begin on Friday 15th January 2021 (a few spaces left). For full information on each month’s session times and to register for participation for any month please contact enquiries@spra.co.uk
SPRA may combine sessions at our discretion depending on number of attendees.
