In this weeks’ news you will see that Build UK has just released the latest version of their Training Standard and the Construction Leadership Council have published their ‘Future Skills Report’.

SPRA has worked very hard over recent years to ensure that we can offer a comprehensive training and assessment offer to the industry.

However, uptake of this training is disappointingly low and I want to encourage all members and non-members to invest in their companies and their people to drive quality and safety in our sector.  We must learn from Grenfell. It is more important than ever that those working in the single ply industry equip themselves with the relevant skills, knowledge and understanding to do a quality job. Gaining qualifications and certifications are the responsible way forward so don’t leave it too late – funding is also available. This week we have highlighted all SPRA training courses. SPRA membrane members are encouraged to forward this newsletter to all Contractor contacts!
