Lesley University’s Department of Liberal Arts & Business is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: CMATH 3522 Inferential Statistics Spring Semester 202,6 In-Person, Mondays/Wednesdays 12:55-2:10
Course Description:
Statistical inference draws conclusions from data. The emphasis of this course is on the reasoning of inference - the what and how of making judgments about data. Topics include significance tests involving means and proportions, linear and multiple regression, and one- and two-way analysis of variance. A research project making use of inferential statistics is required. Prerequisite: CMATH 2142 or permission of the instructor. 3 credits
A successful candidate will have:
Master's degree in Mathematics or related field (required); PhD (preferred)
Successful experience teaching statistics at the undergraduate level
Experience in constructivist, inquiry-based learning
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
