Job Summary

We are a seeking a highly experienced  Asset Manager  to oversee and drive the performance of our commercial real estate portfolio of a private family office, which includes ~$2B of real estate investments. The ideal candidate must bring 7+ years of proven expertise in commercial real estate  asset management  with a strong track record of enhancing property values, optimizing financial returns, and elevating tenant experience. This individual will oversee multiple commercial properties, ensuring that each asset aligns with the company’s long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Portfolio Management

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for each asset to maximize long-term value and NOI
  • Evaluate property performance, market trends, and competitive positioning to inform decision-making
  • Identify and implement value-add opportunities, repositioning strategies, and capital improvements
  • Assist with new acquisitions of which such acquisition will then require asset management

Financial Performance & Risk Management

  • Oversee financial performance including budgets, forecasting, rent rolls, and variance analysis
  • Approve and monitor operating and capital expenditure plans
  • Evaluate lease structures, tenant credit risk, and portfolio cash flow to mitigate risk and maximize return

Tenant & Stakeholder Relations

  • Partner with property management teams to ensure operational excellence and high-quality tenant experience
  • Cultivate strong tenant relationships to drive retention, satisfaction, and occupancy
  • Liaise with leasing teams to support lease negotiations, renewals, and market positioning

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with acquisitions, development, construction, and legal teams to support asset business plans
  • Provide oversight and strategic input on redevelopment or repositioning projects
  • Prepare detailed reporting packages and presentations for senior leadership and investors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA or MSRE preferred)
  • Minimum of 7+  years of progressive experience in commercial real estate  asset management
  • Demonstrated track record of enhancing asset value and executing complex strategies
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial leasing, property operations, and capital planning
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
