Work Schedule: WEEKEND - Friday, Saturday, Sunday (11 hr. shifts, or as program needs)

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse Manager is responsible for leading, training, and supervising the day-to-day operations of the medical clinic to ensure high standards of patient care, regulatory

compliance, and staff development. This role involves the coordination of healthcare

delivery, medication management, and training programs for staff working with

unaccompanied minors, emphasizing pediatric care and trauma-informed practice.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Language Requirement: Must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Licensure/Education: Active Registered Nurse License in good standing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Certifications: Current BLS, First Aid, CPR; PALS preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years of RN experience with at least two (2) years in a leadership or supervisory role, as well as experience with pediatric care and trauma-informed practice with exp in mental health/psych.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage medical staffing schedules, identify and address staffing gaps, and oversee the performance of assigned personnel.
  • Oversee training for medical and program staff in first aid, BLS, CPR, and other emergency response procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations related to medical documentation, assessments, medication administration, and health-related protocols.
  • Supervise the execution of treatment plans, the coordination of care, and adherence to physician and provider directives.
  • Manage communication and coordination with pharmacies, ensure accuracy in medication orders and deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Lead infection control efforts, including tracking, documentation, and containment of communicable diseases.
  • Maintain medical supply inventory, facilitate timely procurement, and supervise disposal of expired or unused medications.
  • Manage and reconcile controlled substances and oversee daily medication administration records (MAR).
  • Assist with transportation logistics for off-site appointments such as medical, dental, therapy, and lab visits.
  • Participate in policy development, protocol updates, and operational planning alongside agency leadership.
  • Respond to incidents involving suspected abuse, neglect, or behavioral concerns and ensure reporting protocols are followed.
  • Maintain and protect confidential health information according to HIPAA and agency standards.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and support agency-wide emergency and safety procedures, including evacuations and drills.
  • Remain available for on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
