Hiring for Sr. Electrical Engineer in St. Paul, MN

Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer

Location: St. Paul, MN

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Travel: Up to 10% (including international)

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (required)
• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Advanced credential or professional certification in a related discipline (desired)
• Six Sigma knowledge and experience preferred
• Experience with manufacturing processes, especially in medical device production, desired

Job Duties

• Design, layout, and construct a variety of prototype tools, fixtures, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for development purposes.
• Conduct feasibility evaluations, functional tests, and performance analyses.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in breadboards, hybrid circuits, and electronic systems.
• Execute and document measurements per design verification plans; prepare detailed engineering test reports.
• Develop and maintain documentation including specifications, schematics, and mechanical layouts to support tool release and document control.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations , company procedures, and applicable quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop new design features and improvements in existing systems.
• Strong background in prototype PCB layout, construction, and evaluation.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills for management and decision-making.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Database Management) and specialized engineering software.
• Experience in a cross-functional, matrixed, and geographically distributed work environment.
