Pride Health is hiring an EEG Technologist to support our client’s medical facility in West Hollywood, CA . This is a 13-week assignment (with the Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: EEG Technologist (Night Shift)

Facility: Cedars-Sinai Medical Center

Shift: Night, 4x10-Hour (21:00 – 07:30)

Start Date: 06/23/2025

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to work within the Neurophysiology department covering both pediatric and adult EMUs , as well as STAT Long-Term Monitoring EEGs . The position requires monitoring, data acquisition, troubleshooting, and communication with care teams to ensure accurate diagnostics and patient safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years in EEG monitoring
• Certifications: REEGT and BLS required
• Licensure: Valid California license required at submission (no temp licenses accepted)
• Travelers: First-time travelers accepted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 10-20 EEG hookups, troubleshoot software/equipment, and manage data acquisition.
• Identify and correct artifacts; mark/clip EEG data for physician review.
• Monitor patient safety, detect seizures, and follow seizure protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and monitoring partners.
• Float between Pediatric EMU, Adult EMU, and hospital STAT EEG locations as needed.
• Collaborate with monitoring companies and take over monitoring for STAT cases.

Equipment/Software:

• Equipment: Nihon Kohden (EMU), Natus (floor patients)
• Charting: Epic (highly preferred)

Preferred Skills:

• Phase 2 monitoring experience (preferred, not required)

Compliance & Onboarding:

• Full application with updated profile, supervisor references, valid certifications, Nursys report (within 2 weeks), and COVID vaccination info required at submission.

• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
• No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks; total RTO must not exceed 2 weeks.
• Must complete up to 17 billable hours of pre-start modules; additional hours are non-billable.
