Job Title: Grip / Production Assistant – Content Creator Team

Location: On-site (Albuquerque, NM) 

Type: Part-time to Full-time (Flexible based on shoot schedule)

About the Role:

We’re seeking a reliable, hands-on Grip / Production Assistant to support a growing content team behind a social media influencer with over 1 million followers. You’ll be an essential part of the production crew — helping set up and break down shoots, managing gear, prepping locations, and ensuring everything runs smoothly on shoot days. If you love fast-paced environments, take pride in being the person who “makes it happen,” and enjoy working with creative teams, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Shoot Prep & Execution

• Assist with loading and unloading gear, lights, and props
• Set up and break down lighting, backdrops, tripods, and sound equipment
• Help stage or reset locations, manage cords, hold reflectors, etc.
• Monitor equipment needs during shoots and assist talent as needed

Location & Prop Prep

• Support location readiness (cleanliness, lighting, weather prep, safety)
• Organize props, costumes, and accessories ahead of shoot days
• Handle on-site changes or quick fixes with a problem-solving mindset
• Return props and equipment post-shoot as needed (Amazon, rentals, etc.)

General Production Support

• Help maintain an organized gear setup and storage area
• Assist with time management on set — keeping shoots efficient and on schedule
• Follow basic SOPs and checklists to ensure smooth operation

Requirements:

• 1+ year of on-set or hands-on production experience (can include student films, YouTube, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically able to lift and move equipment (~50 lbs)
• Familiar with basic lighting, grip, and audio setup (or excited to learn!)
• Reliable transportation and flexibility with work hours
• Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion in a private home or creative space

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with cameras, ring lights, mics, or stabilizers (Sony, Canon, DJI)
• Experience working on short-form content (TikTok, IG Reels, OF, etc.)
• Interest in creative production or future roles in content creation
