Job Description

Banyan Treatment Centers is looking for a motivated Recruitment Assistant to join our People Services team in Pompano Beach, FL .

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s had some exposure to HR or recruiting (internship, coordinator role, or entry-level experience) and is ready to learn the ropes of full-cycle, in-house recruitment. You’ll receive training and mentorship while helping us build strong, mission-driven teams that make a real impact in behavioral health and mental healthcare.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Some flexibility required for occasional after-hours candidate connections (6–8 PM).
• Location: Onsite in Pompano Beach, FL | potential hybrid down the line.

What You’ll Do

• Post job descriptions and review incoming applications daily.
• Move candidates through the hiring process within our ATS.
• Source candidates using job boards and other platforms.
• Conduct preliminary phone screenings for entry-level roles (e.g., BHTs, nurses, support staff).
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Keep candidates updated throughout the process (reminders, follow-ups, status updates).
• Extend verbal and written offers of employment.
• Kick off pre-employment screenings and work with onboarding coordinators to ensure a smooth start.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of HR or recruitment exposure (internship, coordinator, assistant role, or related experience).
• Agency recruiters need not apply – this is a true in-house recruitment role .
• Comfortable working with job boards like LinkedIn and Indeed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear, professional communication style.
• A proactive, team-oriented, and candidate-focused mindset.
