Job Description:

• 1-3 years’ experience submitting authorizations or insurance eligibility
• A Financial Clearance Specialist in the hospital industry is responsible for verifying insurance eligibility, securing prior authorizations, and confirming patient benefits before services are provided.
• They ensure accurate financial information is collected to prevent delays, reduce claim denials, and support timely reimbursement.
• This role works closely with patients, clinical teams, and insurance carriers to clarify coverage, estimate out-of-pocket costs, and address financial concerns.
• Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a solid understanding of hospital billing and insurance processes are essential.
