Job Description

Summary:

LIVIT Staffing is a dynamic and rapidly growing staffing agency that partners with a diverse range of clients to fulfill their hiring needs. We specialize in connecting top talent with opportunities across various industries, ensuring both clients and candidates find the perfect fit. Reporting to the Director of Staffing, the incumbent recruits, selects for hire, and onboards employees for LIVIT Staffing as well as some onsite recruiting at one of our top clients. The job holder also performs administrative tasks in support of employees and the company.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities but will be a mentor for recruiters.

Essential Job Functions:

Recruitment (45%)

  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and fit for available positions.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to attract top talent.
  • Maintain a robust candidate pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.

Onboarding (25%)

  • Manage the onboarding process for hired candidates, including paperwork, background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions and training programs to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and candidates during the onboarding process, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Compliance & Documentation (10%)

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, hiring status, and other relevant documentation.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding confidentiality, data protection, and ethical recruitment practices.

Client Relationship Management (15%)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client(s), establishing and maintaining strong relationships to understand their staffing requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to client(s) on recruitment progress, candidate profiles, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with client(s) to refine job descriptions, ensuring alignment with their needs and attracting the right candidates.

Continuous Improvement (5%)

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, streamline workflows, and improve the candidate experience.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to foster personal and professional growth.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work at 2 site locations (client location and in-house as needed-locations within 2 miles of each other).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to learn complex labor and employment laws.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Safety:

Follow LIVIT Staffing safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or a talent acquisition role.
  • Experience in warehousing and distribution recruiting (preferred).

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Employment is contingent on successfully passing pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Must have reliable transportation for use in performing job duties.
  • Job requires ability to work flexible schedule.
