We are currently assisting our client, a global leader in their industry, with a Manager of Logistics search located near Nashville, TN. This manager will be responsible for providing the tactical and strategic direction for the plant's logistics network and implement changes to accommodate support and guide the materials department.

Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous improvement through improved efficiency, cost reduction and improved service delivery
• Lead and work hand-in-hand with the logistics teams to develop and implement programs that will help manage the organization's sales growth
• Analyze key performance metrics to ensure proper on-time delivery is met with increased production volume
• Improve departmental performance measures through use and interpretation of continuous improvement tools and process changes
• Manage resources, making real-time adjustments when needed, to optimize equipment, facilities, employees, methods, and materials

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field
• 7+ years in supply chain/distribution leadership
