As a member of the marketing team, you will play an important role in helping shape our go-to-market strategy for a potential new treatment. Through active participation in the planning and execution of advisory boards, you’ll gain real-world experience in how biotech companies gather insights from key opinion leaders (HCPs) and patients to inform strategy
Responsibilities
1. Advisory Board Planning & Execution: Develop strategic plans for both HCP and patient advisory board meetings, working closely with cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, etc.) Contribute to the development of insight-generation plans to inform launch readiness.
2. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Engage with marketing, commercial, medical, and insights teams to understand how advisory input is translated into launch plans.
3. Project Ownership: Own a small project or workstream related to advisory board follow-up and improvement—such as benchmarking competitor ad board strategies or developing a toolkit for future events.
4. Present Learnings: Summarize your findings and learning outcomes to the broader marketing team in a final presentation at the end of the internship.
Requirements
· Pursuing a degree in relevant field
· Ability to form strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders across the development and scientific functions
· Enrolled as a full-time student with plans to return to school in fall term
· Available to work 40 hours/week during normal business hours
· Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Strong organizational skills
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Good verbal communication skills: Ability to write clearly and effectively
· Ability to exercise sound judgment, reasoning, and problem solving
