Entry-Level Secondary Operator – Metal Stamping

📍 Location: Grandville, MI

💵 Pay: $16/hr

🕒 Schedule: Full-time | 1st Shift (6am-3:30pm)

Job Summary:

As a Secondary Operator , you’ll work with finished and semi-finished stamped metal parts, performing essential finishing, trimming, and inspection tasks that support production and quality goals. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in manufacturing with room to grow into setup, machine operation, or quality roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate secondary equipment such as drills, presses, deburring tools, and saws.
• Perform part trimming, inspection, and packaging according to work instructions.
• Check parts for quality, defects, and consistency using basic measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist machine operators and production staff as needed.
• Complete documentation and production tracking forms accurately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required — we provide hands-on training.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude a must.
