Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal with experience in foreclosure law and procedures to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the foreclosure process , familiarity with servicer systems , and the ability to manage case files from referral through post-sale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in managing foreclosure cases through all stages of litigation.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents including complaints, motions, affidavits, and notices of sale.
• Monitor and track deadlines and case statuses using case management software and servicer platforms (e.g., LPS/Black Knight, Tempo, Vendorscape, Clarifire).
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely communication with clients, courts, and other involved parties.
• Coordinate service of process and follow up on court filings.
• Prepare documentation and exhibits for court hearings and trials.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local foreclosure laws and firm procedures.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of paralegal experience , preferably in a foreclosure or real estate law firm.
• Knowledge of foreclosure timelines and procedures (judicial and/or non-judicial depending on jurisdiction).
• Experience with servicer systems and platforms such as LPS, Vendorscape, Tempo, or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
• Paralegal certification preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience communicating with mortgage servicers and investors.
• Familiarity with state-specific foreclosure requirements.
• Prior experience supporting litigation or real estate transactions a plus.
