Pride Health is hiring a Patient Registrar - Surgical to support our client’s medical facility based in Flushing, NY 11355. This is a 26 weeks assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Patient Registrar - Surgical
Location: Flushing, NY 11355
Pay Range: $20.00/hr to $22.00/hr
Shift: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Requirements:
Korean speaking required
High School Diploma or GED required; college degree or related patient care experience
Prior experience in a medical office setting is required
Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
Skilled in obtaining prior authorizations for imaging and medications and verifying insurance eligibility
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; knowledge of medical practice systems
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities
Job Duties:
Responsible for supporting clinical and administrative operations in a medical office environment, including patient coordination, insurance verification, and documentation. Must be bilingual in Korean and comfortable using medical and office technologies.
