Job Description

Our client, a prestigious private school located in Hightstown, NJ, is seeking an experienced Full-Time, Licensed Plumber to join their facilities team. The Plumber will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, and related equipment throughout the campus. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of all plumbing systems within the school’s facilities.

This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, and plumbing fixtures for water, heating, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and safely.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repair calls as needed.
• Estimate materials and labor for assigned projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and maintenance staff on special projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License required.
• Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
