PM Loader / Entry-Level Craftsman:
Location: Sterling, VA
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes overtime)
Standard Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (when overtime is not required)
About the Role:
Jefferson Millwork & Design is looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a PM Loader / Entry-Level Craftsman. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and contributing to a team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and efficient production. No millwork experience is required — just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an appreciation for creating high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, label, scan, and load materials for next-day delivery.
Operate basic woodworking and cutting machinery.
Learn and apply millwork and craftsmanship skills as part of daily operations.
Assist with material handling, lifting, and movement of heavy items as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Prior manual labor experience preferred.
Enjoys working with their hands and being active throughout the day.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly.
Basic familiarity with hand and power tools (e.g., sanders, drills, jigsaws, clamps) preferred but not required.
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
