We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient SaaS Business Analyst to join our growing team. As a SaaS Business Analyst, you will serve as the bridge between clients, product managers, and technical teams during the implementation of our health software solutions. You will play a critical role in gathering business requirements, configuring solutions, testing functionality, and ensuring smooth delivery and adoption of our health software products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, objectives, and business requirements and translate them into technical solutions or product improvements.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and product enhancements.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure successful software deployment. Develop implementation plans, timelines, and status reports.
• Participate in software configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities.
• Present actionable insights to stakeholders through presentations, visualizations, and business cases.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs across healthcare workflows, user behavior, and revenue models.
• Collaborate with customer success and implementation teams to identify adoption trends and areas for operational improvement.
• Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify solution fit.
• Provide training and documentation to end-users and stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate project risks, issues, and blockers.
• Support existing products by analyzing reported problems and correcting software to resolve issues.
• Monitor post-implementation performance and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Participate in the research and design of new feature enhancements to existing products.
• Analyze regulatory impact (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines) on product features and user data workflows.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a business analyst, preferably within a SaaS or tech company.
• Experience supporting Agile/Scrum product development.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and metrics.
• Experience working with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, EHR systems).
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to both technical and clinical stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Adaptable and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Gaithersburg, MD

This role requires the employee to be fully on-site.
