Job Description

Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with a leading automotive technology organization, is seeking a skilled Automated Test Engineer . This role is responsible for developing and deploying custom automated test systems for complex electronic control units (ECUs), ensuring functionality across telematics, infotainment, ADAS, battery management, and more.

Job Duties

• Collaborate with electronics design teams to define test requirements and strategies
• Develop automated test sequences in Python using an internal framework
• Create clear, well-documented test cases and operational procedures
• Integrate automation hardware, including power supplies, DMMs, analyzers, and multiplexers
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet validation, EMC, and product launch requirements
• Support deployment and maintenance of ATE systems at manufacturing facilities
• Interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and component datasheets for test development
• Ensure robust, scalable test solutions for high-volume production environments

Skills & Experience

Required

• BS/MS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years designing automated test equipment (ATE) for electronics
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Strong understanding of test instrumentation: power supplies, DMMs, signal analyzers/generators, and multifunction I/O devices
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, DoIP, Automotive Ethernet, LIN

Desired

• Experience in the automotive, aerospace, or semiconductor industry
• Background in validation testing for complex electromechanical systems
• Knowledge of EMC or environmental testing standards
• Familiarity with electromechanical fixture design or test automation hardware
