Job Description

Job Title: Wellness Intern

L ocation: Irvine, CA (Hybrid – 1–2 days/week in office)

Compensation: $18/hour

Department: Employee Benefits – Wellness Team

Schedule: Part-time, 20–25 hours/week for 12 weeks

About the Role

We’re looking for a Wellness Intern to support the Employee Benefits Wellness Team. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience in corporate wellness, employee engagement, and benefits communications. You’ll gain exposure to vendor relations, internal and client-facing initiatives, and wellness programming in a professional services environment.

This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in wellness, public health, HR, or communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research:
  • Help vet new wellness vendors and tools aligned with our client needs.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Support logistics for wellness webinars, onsite health screenings, and internal wellbeing events.
  • Communications:
  • Draft and format newsletters, emails, and social media content related to wellness programs.
  • Client Materials:
  • Assist with developing wellness flyers, client engagement decks, and educational resources.
  • Team Support:
  • Collaborate with benefits, HR, marketing, and account teams on ongoing wellness initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Current student or recent graduate in public health, communications, HR, psychology, or a related field
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Organized, reliable, and proactive
  • Interest in workplace wellness or employee engagement
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule: 1–2 days per week in the Irvine office
  • Casual, team-oriented environment
