Quality Control & Technical Learning:

  • Support Project Leadership by ensuring all work performed meets quality standards, project specifications, and engineering designs.
  • Conduct regular site walkthroughs to monitor workmanship, help verify compliance with plans, and report any potential issues to the Project Manager.
  • Assist in implementing project quality control procedures related to site work, compaction, grades, and material installation.
  • Actively learn and apply erosion control best practices to help maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Safety Management:

  • Actively promote a culture of safety on site, supporting Leadership's vision for a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations (OSHA, company policies) and industry best practices, with a focus on hazards related to heavy equipment, trenching, and excavation.
  • Assist in conducting daily safety meetings (e.g., toolbox talks) and site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Report any safety incidents or near misses to the Project Manager and assist in any resulting investigations or corrective actions.

Resource & Cost Management:

  • Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project expenditures and tracking costs related to labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Help manage on-site resources, including personnel and equipment, to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
  • Learn to identify potential cost-saving opportunities that do not compromise quality or safety and present them to Leadership.

Qualifications & Experience:
