The SPRA SAP is an 18 month training programme programmes leading to the SAP – Level 2 NVQ/SVQ Diploma in Waterproofing Systems – Single Ply Membranes and achieving this will give the trainee access to a blue Skilled Worker CSCS card as part of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme.

Training – The SAP consists of five, one-week training sessions over a year where trainees receive practical and theoretical instruction at a dedicated training centre. Between the training sessions, they work on site under the supervision of the employer mentor that the employer assigns. The mentor must help the trainee to collect evidence of their work ready for their final assessment.

  • Up to £720 in CITB grants awarded for completion of specific SAP modules
  • £600 CITB grant for timely completion of the SAP
  • Funding to cover the remaining cost via the CITB Skills and Training Fund
