Job Description: Associate Designer

We are seeking a full-time Associate Designer to provide support to the Design team in the creation and execution of sportswear garments across multiple brands. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team centric setting and be detailed oriented. Must have knowledge of both woven and cut and sew knits in womenswear or menswear to aid in achieving the desired garments.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update technical flats and/or CAD artwork
• Assist in research of seasonal trends, themes, colors, and trims
• Develop, update, and maintain organized and accurate Tech Packs
• Design, update, organize, and color new prints
• Work with the merch team to develop labels, trims, and hangtags as needed
• Review all received samples, accurately measure and match back to Tech Pack/CAD
• Communication with our overseas factories on construction and workmanship details
• Prepare fit samples, take notes and participate with team in fittings
• Help to maintain an organized workspace by labeling, bagging, and/or hanging samples

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Design or Fashion Design
• Minimum of 3 year of experience in Fashion Design
• Knowledge of pattern making, garment construction, sewing techniques, basic silhouettes, different fabrications, and trims
• Proficient in Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Ability to work in a team environment and partner between many departments
• Excellent organization with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and achieve deadlines
