Job Title: Estate & Inheritor Services Specialist - Wealth Management

Work Location: 4343 Easton Commons, Columbus, OH, 43219, USA

About the Role:

We're hiring an Estate Services Specialist to support clients during the inheritance process. This role involves processing account transitions, communicating with clients and beneficiaries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated, one-on-one client support throughout the inheritance process using strong relationship management skills.

• Proactively communicate with clients via phone and email, ensuring transparency, empathy, and a high level of service.

• Process and follow up on client service requests to ensure timely completion.

• Set and manage expectations in alignment with internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs); maintain consistent follow-up.

• Deliver world-class customer service in all internal and external client interactions.

• Accurately research and resolve service issues; escalate as necessary.

• Document and track all case interactions using Morgan Stanley systems.

• Manage daily case workload using various internal technology platforms.

• Follow firm verification protocols to protect against identity theft and fraud.

• Stay current with SEC/FINRA regulations, compliance standards, and internal procedures.

• Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: College degree preferred.

• Experience: 3–4 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably involving client service, estates, trusts, retirement plans, account opening, or asset distribution.

• Skills & Competencies:

• Strong administrative and clerical abilities.

• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to detail and strong follow-up capabilities.

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-volume requests.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Morgan Stanley systems is a plus.

• Self-motivated and team-oriented mindset.
