There is a lot of hard work being done by many people almost around the clock to keep the pressure on government to look after the construction industry. SPRA is not creating its own guidance. We do not want to duplicate effort and we are supporting the main guidance created and approved by Build UK, CPA and the CLC. We are however regularly contacting members to ask questions and collate information that we can then feed into the weekly discussions with these organisations and fellow specialist trade bodies.
IMPORTANT NOTES FROM TODAY’s BUILDUK UPDATE: Be sure you are accessing the correct Site Operating Procedures when following links. Your laptop may have cached the link which will take you to a previous or incorrect version (Currently this should be Version 1). Check the bottom of the document page to ensure correct version. If not, use CTRL+SHIFT+R to uncache and get the most up to date document. Please also note that today’s update includes important information on new Public Health England guidance for when 2m working is not possible all of the time. This new guidance will be incorporated into the Site Operating Procedures imminently – so keep a close eye out for this.
We have created a special page on the SPRA website with links to all the main pages from these significant industry bodies, so please visit this as often as possible for up to the minute advice and guidance. We are however continuing to forward the Build UK update to members on a daily basis as it is possibly the most comprehensive source of information in a fast moving situation.
However, there are frequent updates from CITB and CPA, so please do check out the links on our Coronavirus page regularly
