Introduction
We have a packed edition of this week’s SPRA Weekly News with a range of issues covered.
It starts with some recently updated guidance by the UK Government in connection with REACH chemicals regulations. Also in the general area we highlight the UK Government’s recent announcement of the of expansion of the Job Support Scheme as highlighted by Build UK.
For SPRA members only this week there are a number of additional interesting items. These include information on accessing the presentation given at this week’s SPRA/LRWA Workshop for members with the BBA on post transition period certification and UKCA/CE marking. Also we provide some of the key points noted by Build UK at last week’s virtual meeting with Dame Judith Hackitt, attended by SPRA concerning leadership on building safety.
In our Members Area we also highlight a free virtual summit being run by BSI in December on current key topics concerning the built environment. Take a look – sounds very informative. The CICV forum this week provides information on financial support available as well as highlighting a webinar that can be viewed on ‘Redundancy and restructuring’. We round off this week with another ‘View from the Council’. Pete Baker of Tata Steel gives some insight into his thoughts on the aims and objectives of working at Council level for SPRA and its members.
As always, I hope you find the enclosed helpful and wish all SPRA members a safe and successful week.
