Established by William Briggs in Arbroath in 1865 and recently celebrated 150 years of successful trading, Briggs Amasco is a specialist national roofing and waterproofing contractor operating from eleven branches throughout the UK, with its head office in the West Midlands.

The company has a total of 254 employees including staff and operatives. Our 134 operatives all hold CSCS cards and are trained in the application of traditional roofing and waterproofing materials, such as Mastic Asphalt, Reinforced Bituminous Membranes, Single Ply, Hot Melt and Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing, in addition to Green Roofs.

We carry out roofing installations and refurbishments on a wide range of projects including major commercial and industrial buildings, retail developments, social housing, schools and other public buildings.

Briggs Amasco has been recognised for its quality management, environmental standards and safety, and has an Integrated Management Systems certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 – the International Organisation for Standardisation. We have also been accepted under various Independent Accreditation & SSIP Certification including Achilles, CHAS, smas and Safe Contractor in support of our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of our staff, operatives and operational sites
