We continue to live through challenging times and a lot of the information in this week’s news is again given over to Covid-19. However, looking on the brighter side to start with, the current situation has enabled me to learn something new about managing the SPRA website. It’s only a small thing, but it will help me and the team be more efficient in the future and make the site work better for users. So that’s a plus. The team have also been taking time to do some of those tasks that are always put off – filing stuff for instance! Ultimately, this less than exciting activity will pay dividends for the smooth running of the organisation going forward. We all innovate and change all the time, but situations like these can speed up that process and have far-reaching and positive impacts. I’d like to draw member’s attention to the ForrestBrown
article in this week’s news which is an invite to a free webinar regarding R&D tax credits and how to access them. We sent an invite via email to all members on Monday too to ensure you got the link. Many companies don’t realise that what they are doing would qualify for this financial support/recognition – so we would urge you to take a look – nothing to lose and everything to gain.
We’d also like to hear about what you’ve done to make positive changes, or completed those ‘put off’ jobs, (which weren’t as bad as you thought anyway!’ and have/will make a big difference in the future.
