A busy week again at SPRA and reflected in this week’s Weekly News, which we hope has something for all on a variety of interesting and important aspects of single ply roofing and construction industry issues.

We are building up in the coming weeks to the SPRA Autumn Series of digital events running up to the year end. Please see information on these events and how to register in our Members Area. This is a series of seminars and workshops that will inform our members on current key issues and relevant topics.
Training relating to SAP, SUP and OSAT opportunities and assessment is also covered in more detail in our Members Area. Please note we are looking for participants for a new SAP 12 starting before the end of this year.
New items this week include information from Build UK regarding the recent attendance of the new CITB CEO Tim Balcon at the members meeting as well as interviews given to the media concerning rising energy prices and work going on to support the UK construction sector. There is also information regarding the CLC’s road to COP26.
From the CPA this week there is information on a webinar on Construction Industry Forecasts – Autumn 2021 Edition and an excellent short Briefing Paper as a basic guide to what COP26 is and what is happening in Glasgow. There is also the latest update from Prof. Nobel Francis on UK Economy and Construction.
