SPRA Conference Training Panel – “Taking Skills Seriously – A skilled workforce for the modern age.”We are anticipating interesting presentations and lively discussion from this SPRA Conference Training Panel. James Talman, CEO at the NFRC, will be our Chairman for a debate that will challenge, enthuse and inform delegates on specialist single ply training.
Availability of skilled operatives is one of the biggest problems facing the industry as a whole and not just the single ply roofing sector. SPRA is providing some of the best specialist training programmes available, and combined with CITB grant funding, we’ll be throwing down the training gauntlet and breaking down those training barriers! It’s never been a better time to invest in our workforce, so we’ll be highlighting routes to the Level 2 qualification and including new initiatives such as the Basic Competency Programme. With a new Roofing Trailblazer also in development, training is changing and we need to stay ahead of the game.
