DCLG urged to press ahead with new fire regs
More than 70 leading organisations and figures from the UK’s health and safety profession are pressing for the government to urgently complete its review of the fire regulations in an open letter to the prime minister.
The call is being led by Lawrence Waterman – who led the health and safety on the construction of the Olympics.
The letter called for a political sea change in attitude towards health and safety regulation and fire risk management in the light of the Grenfell Tower blaze. Read more
