EC Fitness Check on the Construction SectorThe EC is in the process of undertaking a series of studies into the impact that EU legislation is having on the construction sector with the aim of identifying sources of unnecessary burden, inconsistencies and obsolete measures.
The second progress report is now published dealing with Study 1 covering the Internal Market and Energy Efficiency and Study 2 – Health and Safety and Environment. Study 1 has concluded its finding while Study 2 is still work in progress.
CPA has a produced a synopsis of findings covering Study 1 and has given a progress report on the activities undertaken in Study 2.
