PQ Reform – SPRA member SealEco to be part of pilot
We are pleased that SPRA member, SealEco UK, has been chosen by Build UK to be part of the PQ Reform Pilot Scheme.
The objective of PQ Reform is to reduce bureaucracy in the pre-qualification system by establishing a single assessment standard for stage 1: business assurance. The plan is that Contractors will be assessed once a year, by an accreditation body of their choice, against the industry-agreed ‘Common Assessment Standard’. This accreditation would be accepted by Clients and Contractors and they would not specify a particular accreditation body.
The objective of this pilot scheme is to test the new Common Assessment Standard to ensure it is fit for purpose before it is rolled out to Build UK and CECA members and the wider industry.
